**Original Artwork – Entropic Party II**

Created in 2018 by Sophie Kyriakopoulou

Medium: Indian ink, ink, clay on 300g Winsor & Newton watercolour paper

Dimensions: 29.7x21 cm (unframed)

**About the Work and Technique employed:**

I utilise a distinctive mark-making approach by blending clay and paint simultaneously during application. The process begins with a specially crafted glove made from raw clay, with paintbrushes affixed to each fingertip. As I paint, the pressure causes the clay to crumble, dropping fragments onto the paper. These accidental marks not only add to the artwork but also serve as a poignant reminder of life’s fragility and the transient nature of our existence.

**Value added proposition**
